In real rooms

All things color, in your inbox.
Paint colors worth knowing, the rooms they live in, and where color is going — in design, fashion, and beyond. Free, and only when we have something to say.
How it reads
Creekside Green is a mid-dark grey with hazy green tones — Benjamin Moore's own description calls it 'moody' and 'enigmatic', and that is right. It is neither a clear green nor a flat grey but the colour of lichen on a shaded stone.
Because it is so muted, it suits bathrooms and panelled rooms where you want depth without saturation. It sits well with marble, unlacquered brass and warm white tile, and it deepens handsomely in low light.
