How it reads
Dove Wing OC-18 is a soft white from Benjamin Moore's Off-White Collection. Benjamin Moore says its "silvery undertones bring a luminous quality to this white", and gives an LRV of 77.52.
In the JHL Design apartment on this page, photographed by The Morrisons Photo, it covers the walls of an open-plan kitchen, living and dining space with floor-to-ceiling city views.
What Dove Wing is
Dove Wing OC-18 is part of Benjamin Moore's Off-White Collection. Benjamin Moore describes how its "silvery undertones bring a luminous quality to this white".
Its hex is #E9E6DB and its LRV 77.52. Heather Thibodeau of The Heathered Nest calls it "extremely versatile and flexible".
How it behaves in light
In the bright, window-lined apartment on this page it reads as a clean, soft white without turning stark.
The Heathered Nest suggests it for warming up cold rooms. Designer Marya Karlton of Karlton Kelly Interiors has recommended it as a whole-house colour that stays clean and not dingy.
Where to use it
In the JHL Design apartment on this page, photographed by The Morrisons Photo, Dove Wing covers an open-plan kitchen, living and dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a curved cream sofa and warm wood furniture.
Its quiet softness lets the views, art and textures lead. That makes it a strong choice for open-plan spaces where one wall colour runs through several zones.
What it sits next to
Benjamin Moore's coordinating colours are Collingwood OC-28, Tarrytown Green HC-134, Wish AF-680 and Cinder AF-705, and it lists Dune White 968 as similar.
On this site, compare it with White Dove and Swiss Coffee. Both The Heathered Nest and The Color Concierge name Sherwin-Williams Pearly White as its closest cross-brand match.
