How it reads

Olympian Green is Edward Bulmer's clear, lively lime — made from ultramarine and yellow pigments, with the warmth of chartreuse. The brand's own line is that it is 'a lime green without being a slime green', and on the wall that is exactly right.

It is a bold choice for attic bedrooms and studies, where it turns sloping ceilings into something joyful, and it is startlingly good with purple and magenta textiles. Edward Bulmer publishes no digital values; the swatch is an approximation.

Questions

Is Olympian Green too bright for a bedroom?
Used on every surface of a small room it becomes immersive rather than loud, and it glows in low light.
What colours go with Olympian Green?
Plum, magenta, warm white and dark timber. It also sits well with brass.
