All things color, in your inbox.
Paint colors worth knowing, the rooms they live in, and where color is going — in design, fashion, and beyond. Free, and only when we have something to say.
How it reads
Sweet Tea is the Portola Paints Lime Wash the designer specifies for this bathroom. Lime wash is a mineral paint rather than a flat coating, so the color sits on the wall with soft, cloudy movement and dries lighter than it goes on.
Eva Holbrook used it across the whole bathroom, from the tub surround to the shower and vanity wall, photographed by Gavin Cater of Cater Photography. It reads as a soft, cloudy sage green against unlacquered brass fittings.
