How it reads
Tack Room Door is Farrow & Ball No. G6, a colour from the brand's Archive collection. Farrow & Ball describes it as "a weathered mid-brown, evoking years of exposure to the elements," giving "the impression of deep brown woodwork weathered to a more relaxed hue." The brand names Joa's White as its complementary white.
Rachel Gedymin Design used it on the walls of a bedroom photographed by Nicholas Venezia, where the brown sits behind a rust-red velvet headboard, a patterned bedspread and a black chest of drawers. Against the sheer curtains it reads as warm tan rather than dark.
