How it reads
Inventive Orange is a mid-light, clear apricot — a genuine orange rather than a terracotta, with a warm yellow-red base. At LRV 42 it is bright enough to lift a room and saturated enough to read as a deliberate choice.
It is a children's room and playroom classic for good reason, and it looks remarkably sophisticated against dark wood, plum and cobalt. Treat it as the main event and keep everything else quiet.
