How it reads
Little Falls is a mid-tone, grey-softened blue with the ease of well-worn denim. At LRV 41 it holds its color in daylight without ever becoming bright, and its grey base keeps it from reading as nursery blue. It is calm without being cold.
In a bedroom it is close to a guaranteed good night: it flatters skin tones in the mirror, plays well with cream, ochre and rust, and takes on a soft lavender cast under warm bulbs. In a north-facing room expect it to lean greyer.
What Benjamin Moore says about Little Falls
Benjamin Moore describes Little Falls as 'a balanced mix of gray and blue create this hazy, mid-tone shade.' It sits in the brand's Classics Color Collection (1621).
The brand's own coordinating colors for it are Chantilly Lace OC-65, Oxford White 869, Wickham Gray HC-171 and Thornton Sage 464.
Benjamin Moore lists Winter Lake 2129-50, New Hope Gray 2130-50, Pike's Peak Gray 2127-50 and Solitude AF-545 as similar colors — the first places to look if Little Falls is close but not quite right.
What the LRV tells you
LRV — light reflectance value — runs from 0 (absorbs all light) to 100 (reflects all of it). At 41.07, Little Falls is a genuine mid-tone — Benjamin Moore's own word for it. It is deep enough to read as a decided blue-gray on every wall and will not disappear in a bright room; in a dim one it will feel darker than the chip.
LRV says nothing about undertone. Two colors with the same LRV can read completely differently next to the same trim, so treat it as a guide to brightness only and sample the color for the rest.

The eight rooms on this page are a bedroom by Studio Munroe — one room, many angles, which lets you see the color from the window wall to the far corner and against bedding, timber and trim.
It appears on two designers' lists of favorite blue-grays: Bria Hammel Interiors shows a project in it without commentary, and Decoratom describes it as 'a mid-tone blue gray that feels organic and earthy' that 'layers beautifully with greens and warm neutrals'. One roundup calls it 'light and icy', which conflicts with the brand's 'mid-tone' and with its LRV; we trust the LRV.
What we do not know yet
We could not find an independent designer or color-consultant review of Little Falls — no published account of how it shifts between north and south light, which finishes it fights with, or where it disappoints. Everything above comes from Benjamin Moore's own data and from the rooms on this page.
Until that coverage exists, the honest advice is the practical one: buy a sample, paint two large boards, and move them between the darkest and brightest walls of the room over a full day. If you have used this color and can tell us how it behaved, we would like to hear from you.
