The difference

Read from the numbers

Jacket leans warm where Catalina Blue reads cool. Jacket is a grays, Catalina Blue a blues.

How they read

In their own words

Jacket is a Portola Roman Clay in a deep charcoal-brown — a black with the hardness taken out. Because Roman Clay is troweled on, the surface is never uniform: it shifts between soot and warm ash across a wall, with a soft, suede-like depth that no flat paint can match.

Despite the name, Catalina Blue lives in the soft territory where blue meets green. It is a muted, sea-glass color — grey enough to stay calm, green enough to feel coastal — that shifts between blue and sage depending on the light it's given.
