The difference

Read from the numbers

Milk White leans warm where Tundra reads cool. Both belong to the white family.

How they read

In their own words

Milk White is one of Edward Bulmer's core whites — a warm, inviting white with none of the blueness the name might suggest. The paint is plant-based and pigmented with earths, which gives the colour a chalky, gentle depth on the wall.

Tundra is the off-white for people who find most whites too creamy. Its LRV of 77 puts it in soft-white territory, but the base is a cool, faintly green-blue grey, so it reads clean and quiet rather than warm. On plaster mouldings and in rooms with a lot of daylight it looks like fresh air.
