The difference

Read from the numbers

Pine Frost is the lighter of the two at LRV 65.148, 19.8 points above Sea Haze at LRV 45.36. Both read cool. Sea Haze is a gray, Pine Frost a green. For a whole room, Pine Frost is the safer, more forgiving choice thanks to its higher LRV, while Sea Haze is the bolder pick.

How they read

In their own words

Sea Haze 2137-50 is a mid-tone gray from Benjamin Moore's Color Preview collection. Benjamin Moore calls it "a soothing gray with soft green undertones" that is "as beautifully complex as polished sea glass", with an LRV of 45.36.

Pine Frost is a pale, frosted green that reads almost as a tinted white in bright light and as a soft silvery sage in shade. At LRV 65 it is light enough for a whole bedroom yet has enough pigment to feel like a decision. There is no sweetness in it — the grey keeps it cool and quiet.
