How they read
In their own wordsStonington Gray is a light gray that Benjamin Moore describes as silvery, with relatively neutral undertones. On a wall it is cooler than that description suggests: a blue undertone shows in north-facing or cool light and relaxes in warm light. At LRV 59 it is light enough for a small room and gray enough to read as a color against white trim.
Wabi is a Color Atelier lime paint — a soft off-white with a tiny addition of umber and black that pulls it toward pale taupe. Because it is a limewash, the colour is mottled and cloudy, moving between chalk white and warm stone across the wall.
