In real rooms

All things color, in your inbox.
Paint colors worth knowing, the rooms they live in, and where color is going — in design, fashion, and beyond. Free, and only when we have something to say.
How it reads
Seabrook is a light, clear aqua-blue — Benjamin Moore says it 'immediately conjures the sea', and that is fair. There is enough green in it to keep it from turning baby-blue, and at an LRV near 68 it bounces plenty of light while still reading unmistakably as colour.
On kitchen cabinetry it is fresh and slightly retro, and it flatters both white marble and warm brass. Keep the walls a soft white and let the wood floors bring the warmth.
