Every room, each color

The difference

Read from the numbers

Cascade White is the lighter of the two at LRV 73.71, 62.1 points above Deep Secret at LRV 11.64. Both read cool. Cascade White is a white, Deep Secret a gray. For a whole room, Cascade White is the safer, more forgiving choice thanks to its higher LRV, while Deep Secret is the bolder pick.

How they read

In their own words

Cascade White is a cool off-white with a blue-grey cast that is visible even on the chip. At LRV 74 it is bright enough to read as white across a room, but next to a warm white it is unmistakably tinted — the color of a cloud on a clear day. It is crisp, modern and a little Scandinavian.

Deep Secret is a dark charcoal grey with a clear blue undertone — Benjamin Moore files it in the blue family and calls it 'your new favorite gray'. It comes from the Color Stories collection, whose full-spectrum formulas shift more with the light than standard paints.
