How they read
In their own wordsCedar Grove is a mid-light sage — green enough to be clearly a color from across the room, grey enough never to look minty. At LRV 46 it sits in the sweet spot for a full-room green: it holds its tone in daylight and softens rather than muddies as the light fades.
Le Cygne — the swan — is a warm, matte ivory from the French house Ressource. It has the chalky, light-absorbing quality of old lime plaster, which is why it looks so at home on Haussmann paneling and ceiling roses: it softens the light rather than bouncing it around. Cream is present, yellow is not.
