The difference

Read from the numbers

Both read warm. Olympian Green is a green, Late Wheat a yellow.

How they read

In their own words

Olympian Green is Edward Bulmer's clear, lively lime — made from ultramarine and yellow pigments, with the warmth of chartreuse. The brand's own line is that it is 'a lime green without being a slime green', and on the wall that is exactly right.

Late Wheat is a muted golden yellow with enough tan and green in it to stay quiet — the color of a field in September rather than a lemon. At LRV 47 it sits mid-tone, so on cabinetry it reads as a real color without ever shouting, and it has none of the acidity that makes most yellows hard to live with.
