How they read
In their own wordsSilver Metallic is a Meoded decorative plaster rather than a flat paint — a pewter-toned finish with a pearl sheen that shifts as you move through the room. In daylight it reads as a soft warm grey; at night, with candles and lamps, it glimmers like brushed metal.
Le Cygne — the swan — is a warm, matte ivory from the French house Ressource. It has the chalky, light-absorbing quality of old lime plaster, which is why it looks so at home on Haussmann paneling and ceiling roses: it softens the light rather than bouncing it around. Cream is present, yellow is not.
