The difference

Read from the numbers

Swiss Coffee is the lighter of the two at LRV 81.91, 74.9 points above Viridian Odyssey at LRV 7. Swiss Coffee leans warm where Viridian Odyssey reads cool. Swiss Coffee is a white, Viridian Odyssey a blue. For a whole room, Swiss Coffee is the safer, more forgiving choice thanks to its higher LRV, while Viridian Odyssey is the bolder pick.

How they read

In their own words

Swiss Coffee is the warm white by which other warm whites are measured. With an LRV near 84 it stays bright and open, but a slight yellow-beige undertone keeps it creamy rather than clinical — the look of fresh cream rather than fresh snow.

Viridian Odyssey is a deep teal that reads almost black until light touches it, and then it reveals an inky blue-green with real depth. At LRV 7 it is one of the darkest colors in the library — a genuine envelope color for panelling, cabinetry and rooms meant to feel like the inside of a jewel box.
