How they read
In their own wordsAgreeable Gray (SW 7029) is the color that turned 'greige' into a household word. With an LRV of about 60 it sits right in the comfortable middle — light enough to keep a room open, deep enough to read as a true color rather than an off-white.
Le Cygne — the swan — is a warm, matte ivory from the French house Ressource. It has the chalky, light-absorbing quality of old lime plaster, which is why it looks so at home on Haussmann paneling and ceiling roses: it softens the light rather than bouncing it around. Cream is present, yellow is not.
