How they read
In their own wordsMonet is a dusty, mauve-leaning pink with a beige base — a rose that has softened into something closer to lilac. At LRV 40 it is a real mid-tone, dark enough to feel enveloping in a small room and light enough to keep a powder room from going gloomy.
Faded Terracotta is exactly what the name promises: a clay orange that has been left in the light until the red drained out, leaving a soft, sandy peach. It comes from Farrow & Ball's California Collection, made with Kelly Wearstler, and it carries that West Coast ease — warm, dusty, never brash.
